We are delighted to announce our founding patron, TV and radio presenter, celebrity and local resident, the incredible Jonathan Coleman.

From Jono:

“As a long-time resident of Lindfield, I spent many afternoons and evening at Marian Street Theatre. I even interviewed Ruth Cracknell there on stage for Simon Townsend’s Wonder World. I was so upset when it closed briefly. I was told for repairs? It’s been three years, and my kids have missed out on so many theatre experiences. Ita Buttrose and Paula Duncan and Graham Bond and I all talked about it re-opening as soon as possible, for kids’ and adult productions. It may be haunted but it’s a wonderful local building and part of people’s childhood history, and would provide great experiences for all those new residents of Ku-ring-gai. I’m so glad my fave playwright David is also involved. Let’s get it opened pronto before we miss more opening nights. We need this vital asset and local magnet operating again. Yesterday. Onwards and upwards.”
