Join us at the Killara Bowling Club for a free and informative event including the architectural vision and information on the campaign to reopen Marian Street Theatre. By attending, you help to re-open Marian Street Theatre by demonstrating that you care deeply about the future of the arts in Ku-ring-gai and want to see this important icon restored to the community.
Marian Street Theatre was closed in 2013 for a safety upgrade. It is still closed. A group of committed residents is working in co-operation with Council to re-open the theatre. Our vision: a
“Theatre Plus” – a venue that is both a theatre and multi-arts centre. Support of the local community is critical to bring professional theatre back to Ku-ring-gai.

We cannot attend on Monday 26th unfortunately. However we are very interested in helping to save this theatre. I grew up in Killara and went to dancing class there with Penelope Kay in the 1960s.
